lubricating, adjusting or recalibrating the faulty component
- Preventive support services: keeps an operation running smoothly by performing preventive maintenance checks to diagnose and prevent future problems
- Engineering changes: installation of availability enhancements, safety and mandatory modifications required to comply with government or regulatory agencies, also includes virus protection, patch management and intrusion prevention
